They acquired the licence for the company's flagship property, the Norman Hotel, in August 1987, with the hotel itself dating back to 1889. It is a landmark hotel property in Brisbane and has prospered under the stewardship of The Cavill family and their management team, gaining a reputation for quality throughout Brisbane and beyond. | | | Dining | | The most significant innovation by The Cavill family has been the addition of a steakhouse in September 1988. Top Bar is also the place for change and service for our gaming lounge. Garden Bar is The Norman’s newest bar. With its new goal post fonts for ice cold beer and contemporary styling, the garden bar is the perfect place for a great steak while sitting in the Queensland sunshine. Cav’s Bar is the perfect place for a drink after work or to start a big weekend. This open air bar with its punkahs swaying will remind you of Raffles in Singapore as a cool breeze flows through. Cav’s always has live sport from all over the world and plays all Super 12, AFL, NRL & Cricket live with sound. Cav’s has $2 local pots from Monday to Friday from 3pm to 6pm . |
